Went to St.Andrews for the day.

Hello everyone, thanks you to the bloggers who commented on my last blog. Glad you came over.
Well, it's been a hot week here, in the 30's mostly. I have not gone out much too hot. I have been watering my gardens and my glad's are starting to set flowers, I figure in September I should have lots of flowers.

The lettuce is all done and the beans in the front garden are done. Tomato plants are full of tomato's and they are starting to ripen up nicely.

We went for a drive to St. Andrews yesterday, it was a 2 1/2 hour drive down there and a 2 1/2 hour drive back. It's along way and it was a sunny day with lots of clouds so it was only in the high 20's. Nice day for a drive and a picnic at the beach.

As you can see New Brunswick is a very big province and you have to drive along way to get where you want to go.

There where allot of nests on top of the hydro poles and most of them had birds in them. I am not sure what kind of birds they where.
There is a lot of granite on the highway and when it was built they had to blow the rocks to make the road thru them.

We made it to St. Andrews and found a picnic table to use.

I took a picture of Dave and he took one of me. I like this one.

It was a bit breezy, but comfortable.

We had stopped at the Tim's as you come into town but the parking lot was so full, no place to park so we drove on to the beach and found these well kept toilets. Better anyway.

 Families having a big picnic.

I am not sure who is taking who for a walk. Care to guess.

There was also a camp ground and it was almost full.

What do you think of the fish. There where two of these at on entrance and two of the next at the other entrance.

Even some boats out on the water.

This is some of the town. They did not want cars parked on the main streets so they put of fencing.

There where allot of people and not allot of them had masks on. I saw very few people wearing them.
We did not get out to look around, that was not the point of our trip.

I loved this church when we drove into town and I had Dave pull over so I could get a good photo of it. The trees blocked it from the other side so I just saw it last minute when we drove by.

We are headed home now. Do you see the granite on the right side of the road. There is so much granite on these highways.

We saw another Camero on our way home. Can you read the licence plate. The driver waved as we drove by him.

Even on our drive home the weather was good. Still in the twenties and lots of clouds.

Well, I am off to see how my bread dough is doing in my machine. I am making bread and bagels today. I have not done allot of stitching this week. Will show next time. Thanks for dropping by. Big hugs to all. Be Safe and kind to each other. xoxoxo
