Road Trip

Like June said in her blog today, hot,hot, hot. My poor husband is working in this heat. I hope he has some shade to be under. It is only noon here and look at the temperature all ready. I watered my gardens and hope they can stand this heat wave. They do get alittle shade but not along time in the shade.

We went for a couple of drives this past weekend, so I am just going to show you what we saw and let you enjoy the photo's.


These are the tomato plants Loretta gave me and they are doing quite well, I can get them in the shade for most of the hot day. No idea what type of tomato's. It will be a surprise.

This is the start of our drives, we went down to the Confederation Bridge and over to St. Martins.

Found a few people enjoying the beach.

 Love taking photo's of boats, but not a fan of being on a boat.

I also like to take photo's of covered bridges.

Anyone want some octopus ice cream, I hope that's just the name of the shop. Did not stop to find out.

 This is a rock island out in the bay from St.Martins.

We did not stop for rocks this time. Too hot to get out of the car.

This is what the town of Salisbury did for it's 2020 graduation class. I think it is a wonderful idea. The town of Sussex did the same but I did not have my camera that time to take photo's. I think almost all the telephone poles had a photo on them thru the whole town.
