Wednesday post

This is my beautiful Christmas tree that I saved from the road cutters a couple of years back when they where cleaning the ditches of too many trees and shrubs. It's on my property and I want it there. They wanted to cut it down. Not happening anytime soon.

Hello everyone, It's a sunny but cold day here today. I have to go our later for my scan on my kidney and hubby is driving be over. No need to find parking or walk along way to get to the hospital. Great to have him home for the winter months and he is enjoying being home.

I finally finished my Live Simply stitching. I have a few changes on it. The flowers are some what different and the house has a row or two more but if you don't have the chart  in front of you, you won't see the differences.
I will be back probably by the end of the week to show what fabric I have chose for the back.

I have also done 4 more dish clothes and have another on the go. I do like the colours they come out in when done.

We had nice sunny weather yesterday so I was out taking pictures, here are a few I took.

Here is my house from the road just in front of the mailbox. The next one is my good friend Loretta's house.

This is the road going out to town and the next one is going into the road to the rest of the neighbor's houses. You can just see the mailman's car going down the road. We had a nice chat when he came back by me.

Well, I am off to get scanned so I will talk to you all later. Have a great rest of the week. Hugs to all.

  1. LyndaRuth: It always feels good to have a finish, I do like the flowers on your design, now what are you going to work on?
We have lots and lots of snow, today a rain mix with snow, then slippery roads.

  2. The sampler looks great Lynda Ruth, and the snow covered pines are so pretty. I changed the address of Beth's blog on my blog, so you should be all set now. Have a wonderful week my dear friend.
