I know I have not been blogging for awhile because of some health issues which have been taken care of. A few months back there was a recall on the pacemaker that I have in my chest. I went as instructed to have it looked at and the doctor changed the leads in the pacemaker and I came home and started to go downhill in a hurry. My loving husband kept saying they did something to the pacemaker and now I am getting really sick. It took months and an Echo Cardiogram to show the doctors that the blood was filling up in the top of my heart and I was looking at a stroke anytime. The doctor had me on 4 blood pressure med's, but that wasn't working. Finally she did talk to the Cardio doctor while I was still in her office and he looked at the Echo gram allot closer. Before I could get home I was called to come to the hospital to see him. I had not even left the doctors office. I finally got hold of the Cardio office and the lady told me to come in the next day at 10am. to have my pacemaker changed. Since I was out of breath and my legs felt like jello, It took 5 stops walking up the stairs to the hospital and finally to his office. Once the leads where changed back to what they where before all this non-sense I started to feel better. There had only been on pacemaker that was flawed. Why change everyone's when one was the problem (that's one out of thirty.)
I sat for a few minutes and talked to the doctor and then I walked from his office which was in the middle of the building, outside and down the hill to my car and was never out of breath or my legs feeling like jello. Guess what the problem was all along. Right. I am not going back in if they have another recall unless I start to feel bad. I am now feeling much better. I walk a quarter mile every other day. I have gotten my interest back in stitching, baking and just life in general.
I did plant some peas while I was sick but they where planted late but they are coming along nicely. If they don't get frosted, I should have some peas in a week or two.
These pea plants are close to the house so I think they will not get frosted if it dose frost.
There is even a couple of lettuce plants growing.
Since I have gotten better we have gone to a couple of care shows and I am now in the middle of organizing all the cross stitch magazines I have. I will show a couple of car show pictures and then a few of all the magazines I have. I have been trying to organize them in names. I have allot of them.
Don't mind the hair do, I forgot I put my sunglasses on top of my head.
All my friends from the car show came over to talk to me and tell me how glad they where that I was back to good health. They all missed me when I did not show up at the National's in July. I had no strength to even walk, let along go all day in the hot sun and try to be comfortable.
How do you like the bear family that came to the car show. I think they are sweet.
There where 279 cars there and one beautiful Standard Poodle named Midnight who was very friendly.
Now to show you all the magazines I have been trying to organize bit by bit.
I clean the sewing room and now I have a mess of cross stitching magazines all over the floor. I will be putting them in white tubs like the one above and in the red boxes. Anyone want to help me. I have been collecting for a very long time and I have all kinds of different ones.
Tell you what I am going to do, as an insentive for me to get these books sorted and put away, I will have a giveaway to the one person who can guess the closes number of books I have. I will let you know who is the closes at the end of the month. That will give me time to count them all and put then all away. What do you think. Please leave a comment if you want to enter and I will make up a very nice goodie envelope to who ever wins. And you all know that I give lots of goodies. So come and enter my giveaway and figure out how many books I have. I will give you a clue- much, much more than 100, so look closely at the pictures and count the books. Good luck to all. Let me know in the comments if you want to try. Open to all. big hugs Bye for now.
