Who wants bagels.

I thought I would try my hand at making bagels today. I think they turned out pretty good after you make the dough in the bread machine, boil in sugared water for a minute and then bake in oven for 25 minutes, they came out great. Taste pretty good too. I had two.

I finally got a box from Gracie in Arizona which only took a month to get here. I took around trip to the sunny state of California. I guess it wanted to go surfing or swimming in the warm California weather. Anyway, It finally arrived at my door after a very long wait for both me and Gracie. I love all the lovely items that where in the box and we got a great kick out of the Arizona Snowman. Thanks so very much Gracie. I will treasure all these wonderful gifts. Big hugs to you.

These are all the lovely items Gracie sent me and it only took a month to show up. It had to go to California first then to Canada. I don't know why but this is the second parcel that I have had go to California (not from Gracie)  what is the postal service doing?

Well, I just made some lasagna for supper. It will be good on a cold winter's night.

You make a mess but the end result is a good meal. I hope everyone has a great day. Will see everyone later. Next time I will have some stitching to show. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by. Hugs.

  7. Wonderful looking Bagels. I have never eaten those before. Do you have them with soup or jam or filled with salady things? Lovely gifts from Gracie. It would have been fun opening the parcel up.So glad you are making good progress with your shoulder.Have you been getting a lot of snow. The TV news here every night has been showing us some terrible conditions around the world. Mother Nature is making herself known that she is in charge I think. It is HOT ++ here in N.Z.
