A day at the Beach

Hello everyone, hubby and I went to the beach today to see if we could find some sea glass and we had a wonderful time, we found 38 brown pieces, 8 green pieces and 5 white pieces. Did not find any blue pieces, they are very hard to find. Hubby took my photo and lots of times it turns out awful but this time it is a good one so I will show you me at the beach and hubby at the beach and the sea glass we found together.

Here I am getting ready to go on a sea glass and sea shell hunt with Hubby.

Here hubby is looking in the water after the waves go out to see if he can find glass. He did find a couple of brown ones.

I can't believe that it's the 3rd of June and I have my feet in the ocean and it's warm water, last year at this time it was so cold you could not do this. :)

I walked the whole beach in the water looking for sea glass and sea shells. I was hubby's idea to go and it was so much fun. It was a wonderful day out with just me and Dave.

We had a great time at the beach and then we went to Shediac to see a place that they call Lands End.

We stopped at the big lobster and look around for awhile and then came home and had pork chops and potato's cooked in foil on the bbq. It was a great day out for the two of us. I think I have hubby hooked on collecting sea glass and sea shells  with me.

Hope everyone can go to the beach and have a grand day like we did, it's good medicine for the soul and it's good to get out and breath the sea air and feel the warm sunshine on our skin after such a long horrible winter. I am going to bottle sunshine and save for the time in the winter when I need me a pick me up.:) Thanks for reading my blog and do take of each other. Lynda

  7. Thank you for your comment on my blog. You asked for my heart stitching. It is a kit from Savoir-Faire-Vailly and I have bought it from Violarium net store, but it's no longer active. Maybe you can find it from another online store.
For example, here is one link for you

I hope you will find it.

    You have beautiful pictures!
    Happy weekend!
