Grand parents Day

Hello everyone, it's grand parents day today, so happy grand parents day to all the grand parents out there in blog land. Hope you are all having a grand day with family and friends.

I got a very special parcel in the mail on Friday. I sent for a lovely pouch from Sheryl and it arrived with these goodies. I saw her blog last month and right away I had to have one. She has done such an increditable job making these and I love this one. Sheryl was kind enough to send me a couple of ribbon holders with lovely ribbon  and some charts with cats on them.

Look how small and tiny the work is.

I did send Sheryl a gift as well as the money for the porch and I am glad to say she really liked it.

I have been suffering with a bad knee and now it is finally getting better but it is still hard to walk around so I really don't go very far. I try not to anger my knee to much.

I did find some stitching to do as well as the poppies that I am doing.

I think I like this leaves for the back fabric. I may put it along side too. Have not thought it thru yet.

Well, that's all for today. I am off to relax and wait for Sunday dinner to cook. Having a turkey wing. Got a large one to eat with roast potato's and the last of my beans from the garden. I mixed the bean seeds when I planted the rows and I got yellow and green together. Love eating raw beans.

Have a great week ahead. I will be relaxing but getting an oil change for my car on Tuesday. Other than that I don't plan on going anywhere. Just staying home and resting my knees and back.

Be safe and healthy. Big hugs to all.

I will never forget the twin towers, I saw what happened that day and it will never leave me. I am so sorry for all the lost souls that day and hope that the bastards that did that horrible crime will rot in hell forever.

God Bless America. Love to all.xxx

  1. Hi Lynda,
I like your autumn skies pumpkin pies stitching. Very Pretty. I was wondering...what are PARNETS? I'm thinking you mean PARENTS? You have several PARNETS in your post. Thought you might want to edit your post. :-)I don't have your email, otherwise I would have messaged you privately. Hope you aren't offended! :-) Have a great week!
