Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas

I hope everyone is having a nice Hanukkah that celebrate, and everyone who celebrates Christmas I hope you are having a good month too. I know it's not like years past but it is better to be in small groups and safe from this horrible plague than morning your loved ones who got it and died. I came too close to death a few months ago but not from the plague but from a blood clot in my lung, a failing kidney and viral phnemonua. I spent more than two weeks in hospital and I had to be in a room by myself and no visitors. I can only imagine what our parnets who are in nursing homes and hospitals are going thru being so alone and no family can come and visit. It is a terrible thing to be happening now. I hope this new vaccine will do the trick and we can all recover from this and go back to a half civilized way of life.

I finished my sled and am sending it to June so she can hang it on one of her little trees.

I haven't done much on the tulips and I keep seeing this one on Pintest so I decided I needed to have it, so I have started it. I seem to be all over the chart and can't quite get settled on what to stitch next.I stitched the horse so I would know how far down the chart went and I cut off the extra cloth that I did not need to try and stitch around.

Not much happening here these days.We are not putting up a tree or decorations this year. To much work to soon for me to have to put it all away later. Maybe next year I will have my tree up and feel more like celebrating the season.

One thing I am doing is a SAL with June this year starting in January. We picked some charts, you can go over to her blog to see what she will be doing and below you can see what I picked. I had it in my stash so I just have to get cloth and threads and get organized to start. We will stitch some each week and then show on our blogs on Sunday. I will get me back stitching and blogging again. I hope.

This is what I will stitch. The picture is not that good, but you can get the idea.

It'll look allot better when stitched.

I would like to thank two new followers to my blog, Mary and Jocelyn. I went to your blogs and left comments for you. Thanks for coming over.

Well, I am off to find some threads for my stitching. Big hugs to all and please be safe and stay healthy.

Till next Sunday.

    Your stitching choices are lovely.

  3. So glad you are doing better after the blood clot! That sounds very scary and does make you appreciate all that live offers. I had one in 2013 and I remember walking around after I was let out of the hospital with a brand new appreciation for life!

Lovely gift for June and I like the chart you two will be stitching together. Hope this last 10 days before Christmas are happy and fun-filled for you!

  4. It sounds as if you are wise to continue to take things easy. There's no point in having a set-back.You have a good selection of stitching projects and your planned SAL with June has plenty of colour to banish the winter blues and greys.
