Another Snow Storm in February.

Just what we needed is another snow storm to bring more snow, and where are we suppose to put all this new stuff. Maybe I should open a snow hill and have skiiers come and ski down my mountain that growing outside my front door.

It's so windy you can't see anymore than these pictures show you. That's the front door and this is the road out front of our house.
This is my maple tree, snow half way up it's trunk and the picture below is the view towards my next door neighbor.

You can hardly see the garage in this picture. We are in for it until tomorrow afternoon, if it decides to stop then.
My baby spiders are doing well as you can see.

These two played a trick on me last night, when I looked at them they looked died because their leaves had fallen and I thought they where goners but I gave them some water and this is what they did. I think a little more soil and a good drink will make them happy.

Look who's trying to stay warm in the storm.

This lovely plant is what my hubby gave me for Valentine's Day. He knows plants last longer than flowers.

I don't have any stitching to show because I am doing gifts at the moment but my last partner in June's round robin Catherine sent me these lovely gifts and you have seen what see sent me on her blog.

She did a Canadian flag instead of the American flag on the chart and I think that was just great of her to do that for me. Thanks Catherine love all the gifts you seen me.
A small snowman chart and the linen to go with it. So nice.
A little box to catch all my needles in.
Lovely homemade card with a packet of seeds to plant in my flower garden in the spring.

Well, that is it for today, I think I will go and get some ribs ready for tonight's supper. Can't go out in this messy storm so I will stitch after and maybe next blog I will have something to show everyone. Hello to all around the world who come to my blog to see me. Thanks again for coming. Big hugs to all.    Lynda Ruth xxx

  1. Hi Lynda Ruth,
My goodness you do have a lot of snow to deal with. On the west coast it the greys, dreary and fog. This morning there is finally a bit of sun peaking through.
Your round robin exchange looks like it was fun.
Hope you managed to get some stitching done.

  7. I am so sad you are getting so much snow, we are really short for the season this year, the east coast is getting all our snow.
    I hope you stay warm.
    Ribs my favorite meal, yummy.
I am so glad you like what I did, I love the Canadian Flag symbol.

    Happy Stitching

  8. Hi Lynda Ruth, gosh that snow is incredible. We have been hearing in the news about people needing rescuing in your corner of the world because of the snow. As pretty as it is you must get terribly sick of it.Stay warm.

  10. Definitely STAY INSIDE! That part of the world is under siege it seems... We will be having a bit of snow and sleet and ice today and tomorrow... so that will cripple the area. They don't do bad weather very well here in eastern Virginia! What a lovely group of presents you received from Catherine. That she put the Canadian flag on the stitched piece is so very thoughtful! Hugs!
