HAPPY NEW YEAR (THE YEAR OF THE SHEEP)

Well, it's good bye to the year of the horse and hello to the year of the sheep. I do hope this year dosen't go as fast as last year did. I can't believe another year has come and gone so quickly. I did have allot of fun doing sals, round robins and different exchanges.

What do you think of my stitching and the pillow I finished, I was one of a few stitchers who where doing a Advent Calendar with Carol and I finished mine in time to have it under my tree. I love the way it came together.

I got a lovely gift from Shirley in New Zealand before the end of the year. She was the second last person I had for the round robin that June was doing this year. I am sure we all had a great time doing this and hope to do another one. A big thank you goses out to June for arranging this round robin.

All nicely wrapped in pretty red paper.
Shirley included some pretty red fabric which I will use to make a pillow out of the lovely stitching she did for me. Also there was a pretty tea bag holder and some floss and buttons which will go on the pillow.
Don't you just love the stitching she did for me. I love it Shirley thanks again. I can't show you what Shirley got because she hasn't recieved it yet, but I will when she dose get hers.

Look at the pretty card and postcard she sent. I just love the pink roses and the lovely butterflies/ and the postcard from her home town in New Zealand.

Just wanted to show you my little tree and all the goodies under it. We had a good Christmas and we just enjoyed watching TV last night and having a drink before going to bed. I do hope everyone had a good night last night bringing in the new year and that all where safe and smart not to drink and drive.

I want to wish everyone the best for the new year and I will be back sometime next week. I have a birthday on Monday and will be 66. I do hope this year brings the best for all of us. Thank you for coming to my blog. It is the first year that I have done one and it is allot of fun. Thank you all. God bless you and big hugs from Canada. Lynda Ruth  xxxx
