My New Years Resolution.

Hello everyone. I know I haven't been around since last year. I have been busy looking for something to help me with my retirement. I have a bad shoulder which will be operated on after March and I needed to find a way to exercise without going outside in all kinds of weather until it was healed. I would be very hard to dress with one arm and nobody to help me. So I have been looking and waiting for a treadmill to come on sale. Just one that only lets you do walking and I finally got one this Friday. I nice smaller model than the large ones and it fits nicely at the top of my stairs. Dave asked a couple of our work buddies Keith and Tony to come over this morning around 10 a.m. to help bring it in the house and upstairs. It was not as heavy as some of them are and it came in pretty easily. I will show you some photo's of this morning's adventure.Once upstairs it only took a couple of hours to put together. You know men don't read instructions but they did have to at one point read them. All is well and I now have a way to exercise and not go out in the cold, or rain or even snow. I just love this new adventure I am going to take. You see I had a horse named Jasmine and I got lots of exercise with her but she needed friends and I let her go to a home where there where other horses for her to be with. So not having Jasmine, I did not get the exercise I need so on came some pounds I don't need. So now I can exercise walking whenever I want to and lose the extra pounds I don't need. Happy is me. And now for some photo's. Lots of photo's. Enjoy. Hugs everyone. Thanks for coming by.

The box fit nicely in the trunk of our car.

Keith on the left and Tony on the right.

Dave and Tony standing the box up. It only weight was about 140 pounds.

Getting the box upstairs. Sorry it's alittle blurry.

They made it to the landing. Another little blurry.

The box is open. Treasure inside.

Everyone gets to open a box. Just like Christmas.

 Getting the bottom screwed on.

Now we have to put on the handle bars.

 More screws put  into place.

And now for the top part.

Just a couple more screws to go and we are done.

Me and my new treasure. Don't I look happy. I can exercise all I want and stay nice and dry and warm.

See you all later. I finally started my New Year's resolution to lose weight and be healthier. Big Hugs from New Brunswick.

  3. Good for you Lynda Ruth. I have a tread mill for several years now. I cannot risk falling in the weather outside with my bad hip, so I walk inside. Works great! I read at the same time. Sometimes I listen to books on loan from the library also.
