Autumn Drive and Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner

I am thankful for a safe place to live, a roof over my head, two silly cats which I love very much and a huband who takes good care of me and whom I would miss dearly if he wasn't in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating this weekend.

We went for a drive today while our turkey was roasting in the oven and when we came home this is what was waiting for us.Have you ever seen any two cats more tired after they have slept then before. What a pair.

What a life just to sleep all day long and worry about nothing. Next life I'm coming back as a big fat lazy cat.

First off we had to take the Camero to the car wash and clean all the bugs off of her. Then Dave had to wipe her all down so she would be dry. Men do love their cars.

We then drove to the other side of Moncton to the mountain and got some spring water from this hill, someone put a pipe into it and we get lovely fresh spring water.

I kind of cut off my hubby's head in this picture.

So we drove around and looked at all the changing colours of the leaves on the trees.

Before we left for our drive I planted my spring blubs in three tires.

I also buried the glads in dirt for the winter so they could grow small blubs on their ends.

My strawberry plants are growing quite well.

I bought a small plant for my kitchen table it has some nice fall colours.

The flowers in my small front garden are blooming again and I am surprised that they came back, they did die off and now are back in full force. They do look lovely. Hopefully the frost will not get them.

I am doing alittle autumn stitching, I like this chart, it's on lugana linen. I did stitch something else on this linen but it's for my round robin partner Cucki and I don't want her to see it yet.
I am doing alittle knitting dishcloths, do love these colours.

Well, I have a turkey in the oven cooking so I must go now and get the potato's and carrots peeled and in the pot to cook so we can eat later. Thanks for dropping by and please enjoy your day. xxx Lynda Ruth.
